Benjamin DaPaah introduces Practical QiGong with a short demonstration and discussion of how QiGong can work in your life right now.

What is QiGong? Qigong (chee-gong), means 'Energy techniques' or 'Energy Skills'. It references the internal ancient Chinese art that promotes health, emotional happiness and spiritual development. The methods used combine movement or
postures, breath or mantra, and mind-intention to balance and enhance one's life-energy.

SOM™ 103 Series - Building a Healing Consciousness

Join with Reverend Nancy Fagen, Ph.D, for classes in which you will learn:
  *and practice effective spiritual mind treatment
  *to transform outmoded beliefs
  *to deepen their connection to Spirit
  * and heighten their awareness of the Creative Intelligence
  * how the creative process works
  *and discover how to turn to Source to change conditions

REQUIRED TEXT: The Science of Mind™, Ernest Holmes, and How to Speak Religious Science, Dennis Merritt Jones.

SOM 103 classes will be held: 8/8, 8/22, 8/29, 9/5, 9/12 from 12-2pm.
FEE: $130 for the eight class series if given at the first class. Individual classes are $20 each. You may attend all or some of the classes. Snacks are welcome.

August 22nd
9:00-10:00 am - Yoga Nidra

Join us for Yoga Nidra prior to our Celebration of Life led by Sandy Kirk, an Amrit Method Certified Facilitator. This Yoga is a series of simple techniques to help break the mental patterns and habitual ways of reacting that are causing stress and anxiety in your life and replacing them with effective and easy ways to begin to experience profound relaxation in everyday living.

This does not involve physical postures. Based on self-directed intention while in relaxed state. Bring a yoga mat to towel to recline on.

Suggested donation $10.

Join us for a Guided Meditation prior to our Celebration of Life. Led by a member of the board.
